INTRODUCTION
Chronic Pelvic Pain in Women {CPPW} is a common debilitating disease or symptom. CPPW can reduce the quality of life and general wellbeing. CPPW has often been described as a major women's health issue.
CPPW is defined as any kind of pain or any kind of discomfort feeling in the pelvis {any area in the lower abdomen, below the umbilicus and in the lower back} , for six month, and not satisfactory cured by traditionally pain killers.
High incidence of CPPW, it affects approximately 1 in 7 women.1 In one study of reproductive-aged women in primary care practices, the reported prevalence rate of pelvic pain was 39%.2 Of all referrals to gynecologists, 10% are for pelvic pain, 3 also among women of reproductive age in the general population is estimated to be as high as 25 %{ University of Oxford, UK. 2005}.

The problem

In the Developing Countries, the problem of Chronic Pelvic Pain in Women – CPPW – consists of the following items :
*1 * The high incidence of women complaining of CPPW.
*2* No enough complete knowledge with physicians with different specialties to solve the problem of CPPW.
*3* No standard effective systemic approach for facing the problem of CPPW.
The patient gets lost, confused, and frustrated due to rotating between the different specialization medical clinics e.g. gynecology, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedic, urology, neurology, psychology, and physiotherapy, clinics …etc.
When the women patient visits any of these clinics, its specialized physicians try to tailor a diagnosis or try to fit her into one of their own specialized diseases. So, sometimes, the proposed diagnosis is likely not exactly true, and followed by improper treatment.
Also, the concept of multifactorial causes of CPPW is absent in the routine work of these individual clinics, so these different clinics actually act as an isolated islands in the ocean, there is no communications, no connections between them regards the CPPW.

The solution :
The most important approach for facing the problem is the training of physicians of different related specialties by attending highly specialized and well organized program for chronic pelvic pain in women.
Putting the CPPW in the focus, and lighten this area of medicine, both could be performed by raising the consciousness of physicians and other healthcare professionals across the full range of medical specialties and subspecialties about this subject by proper effective advanced specific training, revision and refreshment of all medical knowledge related to CPPW.
Because the causes of CPPW are belong many different medical specialties, so, training should deal with the subject of CPPW as a one independent entity, carefully discussing the details all over the body irrespectively to the borders or limits of the different specialties.
